THE WATCHER

The reverence of trees was also expressed in many parts of the world by secret brotherhoods like the Druids and the Naddred. J.R.R Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings is absolutely littered with themes that relate to this very ancient order of magicians. The Druids, like the Chaldeans, revered the oak for its magical ability to attract mistletoe and they became the carriers of the mystery school tradition in Britain, Ireland, France or Britannia, Eire and Gaul. The Druids also made use of eye symbolism and the Watcher beings or titans mentioned in texts like the Book of Enoch can also be found in books like the Lord of the Rings. The Watchers themselves were often symbolised as trees, due to their height and the advanced knowledge they were said to harbour. Trees in general can be seen used throughout esoteric societies as symbolic carriers of the sacred knowledge imparted to the ancients at the time of the gods (interdimensional beings) living on Earth.
